The summer of 2009 we are in times of ciaos controlled by billionaires. Governments throughout the world have been affected by the actions of the Top 20 Billionaires. The Billionaires want you to think that things are bad by removing their money in the system of finance.
This is a very clever way for the Billionaires to make more money than they have ever before, but what it also does is show those that look like they have money when they don’t.
What happens are these particular people are exposed to their mis-leading fortune. They take from small time investors and use their funds to support themselves and to advertise for more investors. The problem is once the money is no longer flowing, everything stops. And like any fraudulent money scheme, it is the investors that loose all their money, life and retirement.
Las Vegas is a good example of investing from investors while the companies pocket their bank accounts. Not bank accounts in their own country, bank accounts off shores.
We know all too well what happens when the market stops flowing, it is the ordinary person that gets burned. But they aren’t innocent from the system either. The ordinary person, celebrities and small companies have borrowed over their limit and are stuck with an average of 70,000 – 2.5 million dollars in debit.
Back to Las Vegas…
Ordinary people like you and me had invested in buying homes and condo’s. Turn it around to rent them out. But now the owner’s who own large mortgages on these luxury homes and condos are not paying their mortgages.
What happens?
Those renting these up-scale homes and condo default on their loans or mortgages and the poor people renting have no idea what is going on. Without any notice a sheriff will comes to their door and tell them they have from 45 minutes to 3 hours to move out before they change all the locks on the doors.
Not only are the owners defauting on their loans, they are taking the renters money and running with it (sort of speak).
Finally the governments around the world are realizing the economical downfall ( the dominatrix effect).
What is surprising to most is why Las Vegas would be in trouble with their billion dollar mega resorts? With all the fortune they have made in the past, why are they in trouble. They too are filling their pockets and not waiting for a rainy day. Mind you the overhead on a mega resort costs a good million dollars per day just to move. Overhead costs are electrical, employees, employees parking, taxes, water, gas, heat, air conditioning, maintenance and up keep runs into the millions in overhead costs.
But, on an average year each hotel in Vegas had made a profit from 4 million to 7.5 billions dollars. Now the adverage customer is suffering and so are the profits of these mega hotels.
What happens?
Tourism in Vegas is still going strong, but not as strong as before. Think of all the planes that land per hour per day in Las Vegas. Each plane is filled with approximately 200 customers that will spend on an average of $3000.00 while they are in Vegas ( this does not include the flight or hotel package) if they want to or not.
The Las Vegas gambling system is set for them to profit with 99% of tourist go home broke from their adventure of fun in Las Vegas. Take 200 people with approximately 20 planes per hour land in lets say an 8 hour period. Take a quick math of this equation : 8×20x200×3000 = $9,600,000 per day. That is over 9 million dollars per day goes into the mega resorts in Las Vegas. And this does not include the high rollers where they come in and spend over one million dollars during their stay. Lets just had one high roller per week and take away the slow days on just one week of two days.
What do you get?
In only one week the Las Vegas Mega resorts bring in 49 to 50 million dollars a week. That is 200 million per month and at 12 month a year that is 240 Billion dollars each and every year.
So – with 240 Billion dollar minus 80 Billion for Overhead ( this figure is on 20 mega hotels) equals a profit of 160 Billion dollars per year.
Mind you Las Vegas invests into building more hotels on the Vegas strip and plus muti-million dollar condos. Not only are they building in Las Vegas but across the world.
Just one project will cost them over 40 Billion dollars and not mention the Advertising costs are enormous of over 5 billion dollars a year. Several time a year I receive these beautifully format advertising cards with each card costing them at least ten dollars per card. But, they are on the finest printing material and designed to attract each one of us back to Las Vegas from 1 – 5 times per year. So – this advertising is a good investment on their dollar…or is that my dollar.
Example of these advertising cards:
Perks and Rewards are one of the most lucrative eye catching advertising features in the market today. Everyone that has a business does it. If they don’t , they better start.
Here is just one example form TI ( Treasure Island Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada):

BIG NOTE HERE: I do not make any profit by showing you this offer or do I have any arrangement of any kind or sort with Treasure Island
Each and every hotel is doing the same thing in Las Vegas, from the very big Mega to the very small hotel.
My personal opinion :
I enjoyed TI ( Treasure Island) Mega Resort.
My wife and I had a great time we were there.
The experience and meal at Kahunaville Restaurant was an exciting fun time with great Kahunaville Drinks… such huge wonderful drinks to make your stay a full party of fun. After the Dinner we had fun in the lounge. Just pace yourself or you just might not remember the night
The Hotel main lobby looked a little oldish (if there is such a word) but the luxurious suites were glorious. The cleaning staff are professional or well trained. The front desk girls were excellent, but the concierge was to be reconsidered.
The rest of atmosphere at Treasure Island was great, fabulous and a treat to be there.
Now – Treasure Island is not the only place that shows you a good time.
Consider Bellagio :
- Lobby is spectacular with professional staff do help you out – excellent service in the main lobby
- Great service in their 24 hr restaurant with good servings of food – nice waiting staff with good service
- The rooms are supreme and cleaning staff are great
- Casino area is kept clean with no machine “out of order” – which is nice to see
- Botanical garden was exceptional and a complete awe experience
- The pool and courtyard was the most romantic beautiful place I have ever seen – They went all out here.
What did we not like about Bellagio :
Even though Bellagio goes out of its way to make sure every guest is looked after, we were unfortunate to try out:
Petrossian Bar which has said to been named one of American’s best hotel bars by the hospitality industry’s Santa Magazine. These mixologists are the most seasoned professionals in their field. We were disappointed by the smoked salmon and caviar that we ordered. Was it our palate that was not experienced at – no ( I’m a retired executive chef) who found this very salty and under smoked. Paying premium price, we were expecting a “Worldly Experience to Compliment our Palate”.
Did we complain – no – we no longer complain unless we were mis-treated. But we were not mis-treated by the staff. They were professional or well trained. My wife was mad as we left as the piano was drowning her words as she left. Not to worry though – we earned back our money on the first slot machine we placed our money into. This happened in Jan 2009, so I’m not sure if they fixed this problem or not. It was very up-scale but under scale when it came to the “tasting of the palate”. But, then again – this is just my opinion only. Who knows maybe you love to pay $90.00 for a salty treat. I love smoked salmon and caviar and had had great palate tastes else where.
But – Beliago is a very beautiful mega hotel and I highly suggest that you stay at this fabulous resort. One little experience did not curb our stay what so ever. I would go back to Beliago for sure.
More to come…
Please leave your comments and concerns…I would love to hear them.
Cheers!
